Blog

            The word Blog is short for web-log. They function in different types of ways. Some people type blogs for diary purposes while others type blogs for commentary purposes. There are companies who advertise through blogs. These contain everything from links to pictures to videos and even live feeds. Blogs can be seen as a form of social networking and provide many ways for its readers to interact.

Wiki

The word wiki is used to describe an editable document online and is usually a web application which allows people to add, modify, or delete content in collaboration with others. Text is usually written using a simplified markup language or a rich-text editor. While a wiki is a type of content management system, it differs from a blog or most other such systems in that the content is created without any defined owner or leader, and wikis have little implicit structure, allowing structure to emerge according to the needs of the users.

My opinion on how easy it is to edit a Wiki:

            In my opinion it is relatively simple to edit a wiki. There is an edit bottom at the top that allows for this. History of past edits is in storage all you have to do is click on View History to view the records of changes kept. Also, there is the time and on my edit there were the IP address since I decided not to create an account.

                     In closing i would like to conclude that my opinions on wikis was very limited until I actually was able to take a real good look at them and to edit them. My opinion has changed after studying about Jimmy Wales. I think it is notable what the invention of the Wikipedia has accomplished in giving all of humanity the expansion of knowledge and some knowledge not found otherwise.
