Charlie Sheen utilizes WEB 2.0!

In 2011 Charlie Sheen came under attack and this spawned a web 2.0 blitz. Charlie Sheen utilizes 

Twitter, Facebook, Hash Tags, Twit Pic, and Ad.ly 

It started when Sheen became @CharlieSheen. Without tweeting a single word, Sheen went from zero to 100,000 followers ... in one hour. His Twitter account was pinched from a squatter and fast-tracked to verified status by Ad.ly, a firm that runs celebrity endorsements through Facebook and Twitter. Then, in just 25 hours and 17 minutes, Sheen reached 1 million followers, and is now in the Guinness Book of World Records. {SOURCE LINK ABOVE)

Web Conferencing

During the web conference we were bound to discuss Web 2.0. Instead this was just a class assignment where we were to get more familiar with web conferencing. In my opinion people have not come full circle to this products capabilities. Many people would probably rather have a meeting online but the truth of this is, is that they must get familiar! To begin learning about cloud computing was boring. I started to see interest in this as i related it to my
future business endeavors. If i can have a hosted site run on cloud server space then my
company will stand to make it more profitable than on just plain old hard drives space. I am excited
about my future endeavors in cloud computing on virtual hard drives!

In learning about email it was pretty interesting. The above screenshot is a sample email dealing with Reply, reply all, Cc and Bcc. The below screenshot is the editing of the signature. The signature automatically displays at the bottom of all email.

Wiki's-

Blog

            The word Blog is short for web-log. They function in different types of ways. Some people type blogs for diary purposes while others type blogs for commentary purposes. There are companies who advertise through blogs. These contain everything from links to pictures to videos and even live feeds. Blogs can be seen as a form of social networking and provide many ways for its readers to interact.

Wiki

The word wiki is used to describe an editable document online and is usually a web application which allows people to add, modify, or delete content in collaboration with others. Text is usually written using a simplified markup language or a rich-text editor. While a wiki is a type of content management system, it differs from a blog or most other such systems in that the content is created without any defined owner or leader, and wikis have little implicit structure, allowing structure to emerge according to the needs of the users.

My opinion on how easy it is to edit a Wiki:

            In my opinion it is relatively simple to edit a wiki. There is an edit bottom at the top that allows for this. History of past edits is in storage all you have to do is click on View History to view the records of changes kept. Also, there is the time and on my edit there were the IP address since I decided not to create an account.

                     In closing i would like to conclude that my opinions on wikis was very limited until I actually was able to take a real good look at them and to edit them. My opinion has changed after studying about Jimmy Wales. I think it is notable what the invention of the Wikipedia has accomplished in giving all of humanity the expansion of knowledge and some knowledge not found otherwise.
